In 2008 Pacific Living Properties took over my Apartment Complex in Des Moines, WA, (the Breakwater Apartments) and immediately Raised the Rent $300 in one Year. At this time I was awaiting my SSI Application for Disability which had been misplaced Twice.
With No Income coming in and No Promised Repairs being made by the New Owners, I was Served with Eviction Papers and forced to Move, I had to Trade In my 2004 4WD Truck in exchange for a 1995 Van in which to Live.
I was Homeless starting in the Dead of Winter of 2008 and for 7 straight months. In 2009 I was able to Settle Out of Court through their Attorney Matt McLain of Tacoma, WA at the King County Courthouse in Kent and paid off all the Late Fees.
Unfortunately the Eviction stayed on my Record as their Attorney never Finalized the Paperwork and never Acknowledged the Out of Court Settlement.
In August of 2014 I received a Notice from Credit International Corporation of Bothell, WA that a Judgement of $2,238.26 had been entered against me through this same Court, and now with interest the total was now $3,915.49, this after I had already Paid Off the original Fees back in 2009.
A second Harassing Letter came from Credit International Corporation on January 22nd, 2015 stating that I now owed them $3,866.00, even though I told them over the phone that the Matter had already been Settled, they supposedly had no Record of the Out of Court Settlement.
Around March of 2015 Pacific Living Properties took over my new Apartment Complex (Arbor Hills Apartments) also in Des Moines and once again started their previous Proceedings against me, this by turning over their Collections Requests to Genisis Credit Management of Sunnyside, WA.
I requested to meet with PLP to show them the Evicence but they Refused, they wouldnt even Return my Calls, and when I told them to Take the owed $1,00 Off of my Rent, they Started Eviction Proceedings against Me once Again.
Due to this additional Stress I suffered a Stroke at 0130am on July 21st, 2015 while on my 4th Move of Furniture and had to be rushed to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA and due to a Lack of Bed Space, had to be transferred to Highline Hospital in Burien, WA where I suffered my Second Stroke at 2800pm. Luckily I survived them Both.
In short I still have those two Illegal Evictions on my Record and cannot find a place to Live due to my Bad Credit, this despite having to hire a Partime Pro Bono Attorney to help with my Proceedings. It was through her actions that Pacific Living Properties Finalized the paperwork for the 2008 Out of Court Case but the Evictions Remain.
As of June 1st, 2016 I am once again Living Out of my Van and my Health is Deterioriting, this as I also have Type II Diabetes.
