Purchased the car on 0ct 22nd with security plus & maintenance plus warranty program (with option to cancel). I then called on the 26th requesting to cancel both warranty program. Financier Mike said that he will cancel them both and that it could take 4-8 weeks. I called back on Jan to see if they canceled the program... Mike the financier said yes then found out that Nissan consumer affairs did not receive any cancelation request. I decided to be proactive and worked with Nissan consumer affair to complete the proper paperwork to get the security plus canceled and refunded with no help from Nissan dealership, car I bought it from.

But they could not do anything about the maintance plus, that warranty program was through the pacific nissan dealership. I then made time to talk with mike at Nissan to have the maintance plus canceled and refunded became an issue. All of a sudden now he can't do anything about it and that I needed to talk to his manager. It is non refundable. Problem is ... He was suppose to cancel both of my warrenty and did nothing for 3 months and I had to find out that nothing was done and had to contact and complete the cancelation request which he should've done 3 months ago and now he tells me its nonrefundable. I then called in to talk to his manager the next day. The manager emailed me the cancelation form but found out that it wasn't the correct form.

Then when I stopped back in to see the manager again... They made me wait over hour & half... Could not wait any longer so I left my contact number to reach when the manager is available. No call back even leaving several voicemail. I have never been treated this poorly as a customer. Why would I even want to have the dealership to mainance my car when they treat me like dirt. So I'm assuming they will not cancel my maintaince plus and I will not be refunded $1,150.00. As a customer I feel like I've been ignored and lied to. I feel like I got scammed. I will be writing a complaint to BBB, attorney general and consumer affairs. Thank you for your time.

Report them to the CFPB

The maintenance contract is a ripoff and the fact that they ignored your request to cancel for 3 months is a typical delay tactic by sleezy dealerships.  Report the entire event to the CFPB. You should see results right away.  Make sure you name names and dates in your report. Good luck.
