In August 2009 I replied to a money making opportunity on the internet.  It involved purchasing a "Kit" for 1.97  I provided my credit card number and filled in no other applications.  The site used Google's name several times and I thought Google could be trusted.

When I checked my credit card online, I discovered an UNAUTHORIZED debit to my account for 79.90 USD.  I called the # for Pacific Webworks and explained the situation and that it was fraudulent.  I was provided with a confirmation# that they were going to reverse the charge to my credit card. I was to allow 3 business days for it to appear in my account.  This was just to buy them time.

Believe me folks, if they are that cooperative in refunding your money, they are liars.  To date (October 1st)  I have not recieved a refund and what they have done to me and others is a criminal offense.  In these difficult times, sites like these pray on people who are vulnerable and in dire financial straights.

I never filled out any other forms, never asked for a membership and yet they still victimized me.  The only oversight I made was not checking with Rip Off before I replied to anything!

Please be careful when replying to ANY online money making opportunities!  These jobs do not exist.
