Yep good ole "Account Services" aka "Card Services" Guilty of robotic autodialer calls with pre-recorded messages of lowering your credit card interest rate "press 1 to take to us" "2 to be put on the do not call list" Of course #2 never works - they don't understand nor honor any such concept as a do not call list.
This company calls cell phones and other unlisted #'s that are on the national do not call list. But of course they are too lazy to scrub their outbound dialer against the do not call list - even though they are mandated to by Federal law. That's because they are a SCAM.
Lastest one to hit is coming from the phone # 360-529-6190 which I have researched and confirmed is owned by PacificTel a company owned by Mr. Stephen Hamilton whose business address is listed at 12228 Venice Blvd. #559 Los Angeles CA 90066 and with a business direct line of (310) 895-0574. This address is in the scummy apartment area of East LA. But gee what can we expect from a low down scum line Mr. Hamilton who wants to annoy everyone and prey on the ingnorant. If you get a call fro 360-529-6190 REPORT IT - to the FCC, PUC, and the Atty General of California. The more people that complain the faster he will get shut down.
As mentioned DO NOT under any circumstances provide your credit card or bank information. If you really want to annoy them back play along. Read your CC # or bank account wrong numerous times in a row, give them the phone # for the FBI, waste their time.

Got a call from these scammers today on my office line. The caller ID showd 703-502-1193 which I'm sure is spoofed. The message was "Heather, calling from Account Services". Same scam, different number, different day. Would love to hear about the FTC finally shutting these clowns down.

Asia Pacific Telecom was shutdown by the FTC last year for the same exact scam that Steve Hamilton at Pacific Telecom Communications Group is now operating. PTCG is even using the same telemarketing firm names that Asia Pacific Telecom used, like Card Services!!
