I, also, joined paid surveys online. I have not yet recieved any money either not have I been contacted by any company as of yet but, I do want to say that there are two sites and they are the same thing only one is free,'paidsurveys.com and they offer companies that enroll you into "drawings" for money when you fill out a survey. The other is paidsurveysonline.com. This is the company that gives you the list of companies looking for people to sign up for their focus groups and surveys ect. You can't actually earn money from the survey groups on the free site. I wish to send my best reguards and wish you good luck but do not look at these things as a way to actually make alot of money. They do make it seem as if you can but, you are less likely to be dissappointed if you expect the worst and hope for the best... Good luck to all!!

I viewed an advertisement for this company, but when I saw what they offered, I chose not to accept. INSTEAD

I have joined several survey panels that were also sent to me. They don't "pay" necessarily, but I did get to try two different razors for 3months and got $30.00 for doing it, I also found an absolutely wonderful new razor!! Most of them actually give you points as mentioned before that you can redeem for things. After you earn so many you can redeem for cash. Not much, but hey, you're not really doing that much besides answering some questions. BEST OF ALL... these places are free! You just sign up, fill out your profile, and if they get a survey that you qualify for, they e-mail it to you.

Anyone can sell lists at any price, and it's legal. This should not be legal. Most ethical people would not practice this type of business, but if they choose it's legal. "You tear a page out of a telephone book, photocopy it and put it up for sale." This is according to Federal Law which can be further researched and confirmed at www.usps.com or www.ftc.gov. I spoke directly with a U.S. Post Master, when I learned about it.

This still doesn't mean you are not entitled to TRY for a refund. All that you can do is ask, if you haven't already. They're not all like this this one. The person with the previous Rebuttal had a more posative experience. If that was the same corporation, I was unclear from what was read. If this was a different one, could you share that with us? :) Heck, I might call the myself, if they're legit. I could sure use the extra income.

Anyway, the original author of this Report wanted some contact information. I have some from 2 sources. The BBB and some the Registrant. I only have minimal information, which might help.

Paidsurveysonline.com started October 1, 2001. This is a sole proprietorship, owned by JA Hartman. This is supposed to be a Home-based-business opportunity, but this person works in different areas, which can be perplexing, but not uncommon for work at home. They also sell ebooks as well as directories for surveys.

The legal mumbo-jumbo has to be entered, but I ask that you seriously consider at least trying these contacts. You have the option to 1-request a refund, 2-wait a little longer, and try more sources from the provided directory, or 3-contact the seller, and see if any suggestions can be offered for you to get better results from the product purchased. A lawsuit may not be an option or even necessary, at this point.

I have been taking surveys for Harrispoll for over 2 years, they send me about 3 a month, they give you points based on the type and length of the survey. You can order "prizes" with an accumulation of points.

On one survey I received a $50 cash card to test drive a new Chevy last year, you had to test drive the auto and the dealer had to call and verify that you actually drove it, they then activated the card and you took it to the nearest ATM to get the cash.

I also, signed up with another opinion company and they have sent me 2 checks 1 for $10 and another $6. I get about 3 surveys from them a month. But, they have a randum drawing so you never know if you will get any money or not(this over a year)

I don't see how you could make a living with this, I would never pay a fee to join any club I get many requests to sign up with other survey companies for free, so I am not sure by being a member of Harris poll generated that. I guess my main point is I never looked at this as a way to supplement income.

I fell for the same thing earlier this month, but I haven't signed up with as many as she did. I completed some surveys, but of course haven't seen any money. One offered movie tickets, the others entered me in a contest. Waste of time! I will probably be filing another ripoff report shortly, though I'm not sure I was ripped off yet. I'm giving them a few more weeks.
