This owner was a nightmare to work with!!
Even though they gave me a low estimate for the repair, I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Being new to the area, I didn't know a repair company to trust for my car, so when I found an ad and coupon for Paladin, I called. The owner, Debbie, seemed very nice and said that they would come tow my car in for them to look at and give me a quote. They called a few hours later and told me what I needed to have fixed and that the repair would be around $600. It was lower than I had been quoted elsewhere, so I told them to go ahead and do the repair. They said they would need to keep my car overnight and it would be finished the next day.

The following afternoon, I get a call from Mike that it is finished, but I would need to bring cash, because the owner was not in and he didn't know how to take credit cards. My husband took over at that point and informed him that we were never told at anytime during all conversations that it would be a cash only transaction. Mike had the owner, Debbie, call back and she explained that she couldn't take credit cards because she had just changed banks and had to wait for her new account to be approved. We said that it was not right for her to inconvenience her customers because she decided to do this. (She said she had just changed banks the afternoon before...during the time they were repairing my car????)

It was impossible to reason with her. She said she had it posted in her office. We had never been to her office yet!! And if it was decided just the day before, it would not have been posted at the time we would have dropped off the car ourselves!! She then accused us of not being able to pay our bill. We can pay our bill!! We were just not prepared to have to pay it in cash, which blew our budget for the rest of the month!!  She threatened to put it in storage until the bill was paid. We had to quickly scrape together almost $600 and get to her shop before they closed.

Nothing was done in writing up to when we came in to pick up our car.

I hope people read what a nightmare it was doing "business" was with this company. This woman does not know how to run a business and has no clue what customer service is!!
