I had a AT&T account in the late 1990's. It has been closed now for years. I have never received anything from at&t. Just last week in shows on my credit report from palisades that i owe $492 to them from a old at&t account. My account was paid in full and closed.

I have the last three years of my credit reports and there isnt a at&t account on there. When i called the company(palisades) they said they would get all the information from at&t and would put my account on deleted hold with the credit companys.( which i dont think they will) Did anyone here about a big scam with at&t wireless collections 3 or 4 years ago? please help if anyone has any information.
