Pangea Real Estate Locked me and my son out of our apartment that was paid for Chicago Nationwide

This issue occurred between 6/30-7/1/2014.  On 6/30 I went to Pangea Real Estate located 19 S. Madison  to pick up my apartment keys for an apartment I was approved for, got there and (Joesph) an employee was there to help. I was asked apartment number address which I didn't know because I was new to the area so I provided him with my Id Card, he told me I owned $100 dollars and confused I asked why and tried getting to the bottom of this issue.

He told me that was what the computer said he didn't know. Not trying to really hear what I was saying, another employee by the name of (Antoine A.) butted in telling me, that joesph was correct and started talking over me to another client that was in the office. While trying to resolve this issue I was treating like a child who had come into a candy store and didn't know what I wanted. Bad I tell ya, was how I was treated rude comments like "Do you know your name, all because I didn't have the address to my new apartment. I was made fun of.

I asked when will Bryeanna be back, because she the one told me the set amount to bring in which was paid in full, but the computer was telling them something different.. Mistakes happen. They told she would be back tomorrow but no matter who i talked to i'll still be owing $100. Fine I left saying i'll see you guys tomorrow along with Bryeanna. 7/1/2014 I walked into 19 S. Madison because this is my move in date I have all the paperwor to back me up, let me get my keys.

I waited awhile and was called to Bryeanna's desk and begin to explain how yestersday I was told I owe $100 and wanted to know how. I pointed out to her that Joesph and Antoine A. didn't resolve my issue in a proper way she said fine looked in the computer ro find I didn't owe anything. Before I couls get another word out of mouth Mr. Antoine A. goes "She owe $100 dollars because she don't know her address" Funny to him from the day before.

So I let Antoine A. know politely as I could that I wouldn't be disrespected let I had been the day before because I have my son with me. Smh! Disagreement gets high everybody playing the blame game the "ZONE LEADER" steps in and try resolving the issue telling me I was "WRONG" for how I went about things. We agreed that I would be handed keys after I said that if my money could be returned I'll walk away.

Fine I was told to meet Bryeanna in front for the keys. Got my keys a couple minutes later, go to the new location only to be "GREETED" by none other than Mr. Antoine A. no knowing what was going on, Me and my 4yr old proceeded to the apartment, got to the top floor and none of the keys worked. Oh Mr. Antoine A. locked me out of my apartment with my 4yr old son with me and movers on the way, "HOW PROFESSIONAL" get back to the leasing office and was told that i'd have to wait for a manager to see why my keys not working.

decided to call "corporate" only to find out my lease was terminated in a matter of minutes because "Antoine A" felt threatened by a grown up disagreement. Smh! I would never recommend anyone to this office, it's full of unprofessional inviduals fro management on down. Very Poor customer Service these people don't have regards for people not even children my son was with me the whole time I was disrespected.

I feel he should be reprimanded to the fullest extend, this was handled all wrong. I had to call off work, because of the back & forth to the office! This was a very bad experience and I won't quit until something is done to these unprofessional. Make me want to start my own real estate company to show them how it goes. But While disagreeing with him I heard him saying "I think I'll just terminate he lease, I don't have the time for this.

The only thing im saying was why not give me my money back in the office instead having me go through all this. PANGEA REALLY BAD INVESTMENT, I DON'T SEE THIS COMPANY SURVIVING MORE THAN 5YRS UNLESS THEY GET RID OF THE BAD APPLES..
