P.A.P.A custodybattles.org Michael Leonard Scam Artists Prey On Parents Seeking Legal Help Federal Way, Washington

My experience is that they required payment upfront of $3,500, cash, after convincing me they could help me in ways my attorney had not over the past few years.  I had two time sensitive issues that needed to be addressed. Two weeks later and NOTHING DONE, they completely stopped responding to my inquiries. The only response I had received until then was a few lame excuses- "very busy with other cases," was "stranded in Bellingham" etc. After becoming suspicious, I found other complaints about this organization and one of the individuals. I have checked with Wa State DOL and found they are not registered to do business in Wa State, and not registered nonprofit as they advertise.

The names involved in this scam are "ARNOLD (ARNIE) NEWMAN" and "MICHAEL LEONARD". "Michael" is approximately 6'4", white male, light brown hair, blue eyes, sometimes wears a goatee, drives an older white 4 door car, medium build.  I have only had phone contact with Arnie and do not have a physical description. 

Arnie has been involved in the past with other schemes involving patents and inventions and has numerous complaints on the internet.  Consumers BEWARE!  Do not get scammed by these people!  I am now anticipating an attempt at identity theft now that they have all of my personal information.  If you have been a victim, contact the Attorney General's office and the Wa State Bar association for information about filing a complaint for unauthorized practice of law. 

They continue to run ads on craigslist such as this:

"Don't waste money and some times all you have on attorneys.
