Paper Wishes Redeem customer service supervisor: Marie Ordered a gift certificate for my sister Christmas 2014. Order date was 10/10/14. Issued date 10/13/14 with the expire date 10/13/14. Marie did not seem to care enough about 4 drop calls to customer service ( this is the number printed on certificate 1-888-300-3406). They want to give you a different number instead of transferring you to a different customer service person. Now I understand why! A 5 min wait time then a dropped call. Plus supervisor from customer service never returned a call promised for that next Monday. Marie isn't even the customer service supervisor for customer complaint's. She's the supervisor for redeeming certificates. She didn't try to make anything right she said "She'll just refund my money". Internet

I'm glad it worked out for you! My customers (at Christy's Happy Scrapper) love the PW products.  Their webisodes are great and always inspirational.

I also forwarded your complaint to them after I replied to you.

Sometimes CSRs at ANY company can drop the ball. I have found that it helps to not let my frustration get the best of me and just keep trying. Unless it's the IRS in which case all bets are off! I think they block my calls because I ask questions they can't answer!

I did exactally as you said yesterday and got a very nice responce today. It's posted below.

 

Mrs Jones,
I have been asked to look into this matter and respond to these problems. First I want to apologize for all the problems. We have three different phone lines; one for orders, one for Personal Shopper and one for Paper Wishes Customer Service. Sometimes it is necessary to transfer calls.  When the lines are busy the transfers don't work and they have been instructed to give you the correct number to dial. I know it can be very frustrating to be put on hold or wait for a transfer.

Someone made a mistake when they put the expiration date on the gift certificate for your sister and I have been told a new one was sent to you. I am sorry for the inconvenience this caused you and the extra waiting. You didn't get a call back either and that was not right! We are testing the phones for dropped calls and hope to get this problem cleared up. Again, I am very sorry for our poor customer service, we can do better.

I am a small retailer who often orders from Paper Wishes for my store.  I can promise you that Paulette Jarvey, the owner, is a kind woman who is probably unaware of this lack of customer service.  If you can't get anywhere by calling them, send an email and put it to the attention of Paulette Jarvey. And if THAT doesn't work, let us know. I'll call her personally. I'll also try to copy and paste this complaint in an email to her and see if that can grease the skids.
