This ken briggs character has so many bulls**t
stories is sad! Go to google maps, type in the address 8745 Pathfinder Ct. Orangevale 95662,
click satalite option, zoom in and you will see
that this is a residence, not a business.
What ken briggs does is, I believe, is take peoples money and go out and find the product, add his markup and ship out what he has bought.
He seems to do this more to golfers than pool
supply purchasers though, considering the many more complaints by golfers. Then he comes back with some rediculous reason why he can't satisfy you. What he does for a living is not illegal, but how he runs his business is beyond terrible and totaly unprofessional!!!
What those who have fallen prey to this guy have to do is just get the word out that doing
business with this guy is a terrible mistake
and chances are they will regret it.

I have real companies that are incorportated and yes we have thousands of satisifed customers. Pool products come from distribution and are delivered daily to me and golf products are assembled here and shipped from here daily.
Before you make assumptions really do your homework i have a 500 sq ft office with 5 works stations and 1000 sq ft warehouse detached. Look real close on the image you will see it :-)

#1 we are a volume dealer and we are a business.
#2 we do not charge a customer til the day the product ships.
#3 If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
#4 It is so sad that people are jealous and have to result to horrible things to say about someone or a company when you do not know the company or the amount of business it does and that is none of your business.
I will continue to work hard and my 300,000 plus customers that are happy continue to do business all my companies.

being honest with customers is the key

I've been reading alot of the complaints against best buy golf and I think the main problem is lack of honesty.
there is NOTHING ethically WRONG with a business model that says we collect the $$ upfront from 30-50 customers at a time. then place a bulk order to china or some 3rd world country and wait several weeks until it arrives by boat (the cheapest way to ship items) we ship them out.
what the business needs to do is place a disclaimer on the website that says, all orders are custom made for you. this takes a min of 60 to 90days to recieve your order this is how we can offer a 60% discount. I wouldn't mind buying from him If I didn't need new clubs for a few months and actually recvieved my product in good condition.
the deception here is that there is no mention of this practice on the website. and the danger of the company filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy and buyers left holding the bag. it also provides a great source of income. (better then going to a payday loan store and paying interest) and what is probably going on is orders placed on 01/26/2007 by new customers are actually paying for orders placed back in 12/10/2006 by previous clients.
the owner Ken obviously feels somewhat guilty about it as he tries to reply to complains on this website. (or at least not to scare off future customers and hurt his sales) I'm frankly surprised he doesn't try offering "free golf balls" or some other scheme with unhappy customers to keep them quite (ie: slow shipping but very friendly easy to work with sales staff)
why not just update your website? the truth is this would cut down on sales. some customers will wait 4-5 weeks before even asking for a tracking number. others after 1 week are yelling. the saying is the squeeking wheel gets the grease
