Paramax Audio Paramax P-6 Digital Series Killeen, Texas

A lowlife named Mike, appoached me with an offer for a Paramax P-6 home theater system, a brand that he claimed was a top of the line name brand system, that doesn't exist. He ran the same scam that's listed in Wikipedia, down to the letter except there was no white van involved with this scam. Read the story, to find out how the scam is done. He sold this system to me from a silver / gray colored pick up truck with Texas license plate # 813 8AX. He tried to sell it to me for $600.00, I ended up paying $200.00. Dumb a** tried to act legit by giving me his cell phone number which is 1-978-979-1329.

I texted him and confronted him about this scam, he tried to play it off. I told him I wanted my money back, he refused and had some intersting remarks while on the phone. Bottom line he was tough thru his texts. I filed police reports and appoached the local news stations with my story. If you have access to the internet when someone offers to sell you a brand that you never heard, check the net first.  Ask questions, have them call your cell to get & verify their phone number or copy down their license plate. Make sure the vehicle plates match, front and back.

Get as much information on them as you can, incase you have to file a police report. Get the description of the vehicle and the crooks who's trying to pull a scam on you. Better yet, if the deal sounds to good to be true, then it is. Buy your electronic equipment from a reputable store / dealer and you can avoid the problem that I have now. I will be filing complaints with every media that I can, to get the word out about these butt holes.

Beware, they use a lot of different names for their equipment, claiming that they are expensive brands. Don't fall for the pretty box, if it sounds to good to be true, then walk away. Don't be the next victim!!!
