i believe i also got a rip off from these guys selling paramax home theaters. they came up to me and my husband in the parking lot saying that there boss accidently gave them one extra one. they even showed us a magazine and that it goes for $3,199 and they were giving it to us for $600 each guy (there were 2) we said no and we offered less. just $300 for both guys not each.
niether one of us knows much about home theaters and we thought that it was probably a good brand, everyone we know was working at the time so there was nobody we could ask to look up this brand so we fell for it and bought it. all the speakers work fine when you put it on radio but when you put it on AUX only 3 work, i dont know maybe were not hooking them up right or they just dont work i still have to finish setting it up.
i hope this is helpful to anyone in massachusetts there 2 guys about in there 20's and in a gold van the van is not to new.be careful and dont get scammed like we did.

I am in Atlanta and I had a similar thing happen to me. I was driving down the road and I stopped at a traffic light. These guys asked me to put down my window and they told me the same story about getting an extra system. All the stories are very similar. That aside, the speaker problem can be fixed. There are three buttons on the remote - one has the number 2, another has 3 and another has 5. Depending on what you select, that is how many speakers will operate. If you want all speakers to operate, you should select 5. The problem that I have with the system is the unit makes noise when it is in the off mode. It sounds like it is still on. It is a humming noise that sounds like it receiving a radio station signal. I have to unplug it when it is not in use. Do you have that problem too?
