Paramount computers Anton Ebay laptop repair Milpitas, California

I purchased a laptop repair service after speaking with anton. I was assured that the problem with my laptop could be fixed, so I decided to entrust paramount instead of buying a replacement. After I sent the computer in, I recieved no response. After 2 weeks I called, and was informed that they could fix it. Alright-another 2 weeks go by with no response. At this point I call in, and am told they just looked at my computer, and it needed a new motherboard. I said alright, although Had I been told this initially I would have replaced it locally. 3 weeks later I was informed the motherboard they installed was defective, and they were looking for another. After several more days, I was informed that my computer turned on, but needed a new cpu. I was skeptical of this, and requested my old parts back when the repairs were completed. I ordered a new cpu, an had it sent to them. Fast forward another couple of weeks, and I have my computer back. The first time I turned it on it overheated and shut off instantly. I contacted paramount, and was told to send it back before my warranty was up-90 days. It took me a little longer than a month and a half to return it, and now they refuse to repair it under warranty. The motherboard they installed was defective, and want me to pay to repair it, as parts only carry a 30 day warranty. They were made aware of my issue the day I recieved it back, but due to personal reasons I was unable to return it for service. Now, on top of the 400 dollars plus shipping, they want another 215 dollars to repair a computer they never fixed in the first place. The company NEVER returned my old parts as I requested, and I saved all their correspondance ensuring me that they always return a customers used parts. In addition, they kept my restore discs, and factory packaging from the computer.

This company should be avoided at all costs. I am going to be filing a credit card chargeback and civil suit shortly unless they resolve my issues.
