Local Rockwall woman, Deborah Uradzionek Streit, owner of Park Place Realty & Property Management is no stranger to controversy. She is a licensed registered nurse, a licensed realtor and also is owner and operator of the sex club, The Velvet Curtain located in Dallas. Do a Google search with her name, or the name of her business and you'll find many complaints regarding past real estate dealings. What you'll also find is that she has a conviction for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member from 2011 in Rockwall County resulting in a class A Misdeomeanor which is public information, and was again arrested in December of 2011 and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Driving
While Intoxicated. The Aggravated Assault charge is a 2nd degree Felony. These latter charges made in December are also public record and pending their final court date. She has not been convicted and these are alleged crimes until she is given her fair day in court.

What makes this particularly egregious is that if the allegations are true, and this woman fired a pistol at the same family member that she assaulted earlier in the year, the question arises, Will the district attorney afford the same diligent prosecution to her that would be given a man in the same circumstances?  These records can be found at http://trueauto.rockwallcountytexas.com along with the information to contact the district attorney and prosecutor and ask just these same questions.  But wait, it gets more interesting.

A sexually orientated business license pertains to a business that adheres to standards, i.e. porn shops, cabarets, etc., not those that engage in sexual acts between (yes even) consenting adults. Until laws are changed..

We may wonder then, WHY do the Board of Realtors and the Board of Nursing not take a more pro-active stance on allowing people with such immoral activites to propagate? And will the Rockwall District Attorney take positive action on the charges, if they are proved to be worthy? And last, why does the City of Dallas allow these types of clubs in our town?  After reading other complaints here online regarding her past real estate dealings, it's no wonder she has made attempts to to snuff them out as shown and only right that the truth be shown.  So be it.
