After listing with Pat Dickey/Coldwell Bankers Realty in Crockett, TX to sell my home on a 9 month contract I was made aware of their unethical practices by an interested party who tracked me down through friends in town. She was told on several occasions they would get back with her about our property for sale but they never did. The last time she tried they told her she would not be interested in my property and not to waste her time or theirs looking at it. How many other potential buyers did she run off? We put our trust in a real estate company only to be misrepresented and now our property is going to be foreclosed on and ruin us because she didn't feel it was worth her time but kept us under contract so we couldn't seek other avenues to try and sell. I hope someone does something about them or reads this report and won't let her do the same to you.

I'm a Real Estate Broker in Texas. Taking what you say at face value, you have been injured by this agents actions. You need to contact an attorney as soon as possible to file against the agent and brokerage. Their actions violated their fiduciary duty to put your interests ahead of their own, in addition it could easily be claimned that their actions were also an example of negligence and possible incompetance.
I would also reccomend that you file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission in Austin. Those actions, as you described them would be a violation of the license act also.
