As in the other 2 reports, I received a letter stating that I was approved for a home improvement grant paid to qualified and randomly selected applicants in the United States and Canada. Enclosed was a check to cover fees and taxes that was deducted from the total grant of 39,000.
I immediately went to my computer and looked up Century Group and found that it was indeed a "rip off" scheme.
I agree that this type of scam needs to be stopped and the people responsible need to be prosecuted. In addition to this site, I am doing what I was instructed and sending this to the Postmaster since it is against the law to use the United States Postal Service for this type of scam. I hope others do the same.
