I Purchased a used engine from Paul who seemed like an honest guy. He told me the engine was removed from his personal truck. When i got engine home and was getting ready to install I noticed several things that were not as Paul told me.

It was not the correct year engine and was not from the type of vehicle he told me. Also the intake was full of water so I decided I better pull the heads and look.

I found rusted cylinders, damaged pistons, the rod and main bearing were shot. The crankshaft was so worn it would not clean up at .020. 

I tried calling both of his numbers a few days after purchasing and he blocked my number. I called him from another number and he answered. He did not have any excuse and told me he would call me back that night and make it right. I have not heard from him since and he will not answer my calls.

He is a scam artist. Avoid him at all costs. I paid him good money for what was supposed to be a low mileage engine. I ended up with a motor that was in worse shape than the motor I was replacing. He cost me alot of frustation, time and money.   His numbers are 678-964-**** and 912-617-****.
