Paul Smith Pressure Tech Home Improvements Tries to strike again, but because of a previous report on here he was confronted Manahawkin New Jersey

I tried to hire this guy to do some work around my house, I then decided to try to look at his website that he shows on his business card, to see what kind of work he does, and the website did not work. So then I got curious and did a search on the company name and the owner Paul Smith, and low and behold I come across this website with a previous complaint about this man, and it indicated that he was unlicensed. So I called consumer affairs and checked it out myself and it's true. When we confronted him about it he gave some stupid story, and then tried to explain why those complaints on the B.B.B. went unexplained. Stupid me feels bad and my husband & I try to give him another chance, we told him no upfront money until the job is done. He says no problem he'll be there the next day, but he'll call later with the exact time he'll arrive to start the work. At the end of the conversation we asked for proof of insurance, and he says no problem he'll get us a copy. As expected he never called, nor showed up to do the work. So it was a blessing that we found this website, otherwise we would have been taken. I like to thank the writter of the first complaint, without you writting and posting you complaint on the internet I would have been taken. I just hope this helps someone else that might get taken by this guy.
