Watch out for scams on various web sites. There are a group of people trying to sell you a really nice horse trailer, for cheap. When you get excited to buy it they will ask for a downpayment and state that they will ship the trailer to you. You have a 7 day gaurentee and they will refund you the down payment. They throw this at you so you do not request to see the trailer.
The problem is that the horse trailer does not exist! They will say that Equine.com or whoever your are seaching through has a agent especially for this. This is a lie Equine.com or horsetopia.com...ect do not have agents that help with purchases. They are not involved with any purchases they only host the site. The scammer will even send you transaction numbers with your emails that looks like it is from the site. Also they will only communicate thru e-mails not through the site or over the phone
Most often they advertise bison or 5 star trailers. They have great pictures they stole from dealers. Then they write they are selling their ranch or downsizing and do not need such a big trailer. The pictures look like a brand new trailer so be suspicious. Especially since the pictures are done like a brouchure
If you look at their contact info the phone number has almost all the numbers except the last two so it looks like they accidently mistyped. Also there is no personal info and the name is usually d64 dddd or along those lines. There is no vin number on the trailer and the trailer has not been posted for long.
The man tried to get us to pay using western union and send it to an address in GA to a equine "agent", but Kat from equine.com stated it was a fraud! And we did not send the money.
Be Careful and if the trailer is to go to be true it probably is a scam!!
