This man, god this man. I wish we saw the ripoff reports sooner. Me and my bf were moving from Virginia. Our original apt fell through and this was our second choice. The neighbors are awesome but dealing with this man is not. At first he seemed kind and friendly but then after moving in heres what started and ill list it off

1: first two weeks of moving in our grabage disposal stopped working. We contacted him and the so called drunk of a maintenance man to fix it but here it is 8 months later nothing. And yes we asked MULTIPLE times

2: He did not turn on the heat till the middle of the month (NY law states has to be turned on OCT 1st). The only reason why it was turned on was because the city was called on him. Oh and he had his drunk maintenance man fixed it only to leave 6 gas leaks in the building.

3: He harasses you to the point that I had to block his number on my phone to keep him from bitching verablly over the phone

4: He basically does what the other ripoff reports say.

5: He assumed my apt was filthy when someone said that they were in our apt when they didnt and harrassed me about it.

6: He threatened to evict me when the city was called on him the 2nd time about snow removal which I never called about. Im born and raised in the Olean area and had to walk in it daily. Snow does not phase me.

7: Called me NUMORUS times to get a straight answer when I work full time and not allowed to talk on the phone. Hence another reason why I blocked him.

8: The heat was turned WAYYYYY up and everyone in the building complained and had their windows open when its single digits outside. He bitched and complained that the utilities bills would be high and bitched at everyone to shut the windows. To make sure thie "Rule" was met, He walked around the building looking for windows open.

9: Towards the end when we started to move out. There was this STENCH of sewar coming form the crawlspace that sometimes overpowered some of the most best air fresheners.

10: Was not flexiable with rent, Both of us were paid biweekly and informed him when he would get rent but he still asked for the late fee.

11: You could here him here and there harrassing the other neighbors for other misc. issues that I will not explain

12: When we moved in the apt was no where near the word clean. The ceiling was starting to crack in the bathroom, the carpet looked like s**t, there was grease literally over every surface on the kitchen and took 4hrs to clean, our mailbox door was missing so we never got mail, the kitchen sink leaked.

Then lastly, when you look at the website he has for the apts. His rent is actually higher then what he advertises. They look remodeled, ummm where is my new cabinets? Where is my recently remodeled apt?

Sorry to write this soooo long but I feel this is necessary to keep people from renting from this SLUMLORD
