March 11, 2015 I went to Paul Thigpen Chevrolet group LLC to look at vehicles. I found a Chevy Equinox 2007 that I test drove. While they were waiting to hear back from the bank they allowed me to drive the vehicle home to get the title to my van.

On the way back they called and I told them that I didn't like the seats. I asked if they would look for me another around the same price. When I arrived back they had a 2012 Jeep, but it wasn't in the price range I would be able to afford. They also had dropped the price of the Equinox so the seats didnt seem such a big deal.

March 14, 2015 three days later the speedometer wouldnt work. From then on it would work on and off at will. The same day I noticed the vehicle would slip when I'd brake or speed up.

March 16, 2015 I took it to mechanic shop for it to be check out. They informed me that the passenger front axel seal was leaking. The windshield washer pump also needed to be replaced. It was a quart low on oil so they did the oil and ordered the parts to fix the vehicle.

March 24, 2015 on the way back from town I noticed it wasnt wanted to shift gears to speed up. By the time I got outside of town the engine light and traction light came on. It was saying the traction needed to be serviced.

I reached a stop sign and came to a complete stop then the vehicle didnt want to go at all. It got up to about 40 mph and that was about it. It was late so I had to call someone the next day.

March 25, 2015 I had the vehicle two weeks and I had to pay to have it towed back to Paul Thigpen Chevrolet. They informed me I had a 30 day warranty. Once they got it in their shop they said the transmission had gone.

First, I spoke to the salesman about just swapping the Equinox for another vehicle he wanted me to come in so we could make a deal. Then, I called and spoke to Paul Thigpen himself. He told me that there was nothing he could do because my name was on the title and it had been switched over.

April 13, 2015 They still have not found a transmission for it. I've been three weeks without it and I still have to make the payments.
