Steve Quick from Pawpatch Kennel sold my boyfriend and I a sick puppy. My mom (Debbie) wrote a report about him when our Ridgeback was in the hospital. He was diagnosed with Parvo and stayed in the hospital for 6 days. It was a very emotional week for us and Steve Quick would and still will not do anything about our enormous vet bill, despite the 72 hour life threatening health guarantee that he gave us. The paperwork for our puppy was "on its way" before our puppy arrived at the airport. We did not get the paperwork/contract until the day we picked him up from the hospital! Steve is aware that our puppy suffered this life threatening virus and still will not do a thing about it! Thank God our little Toby pulled through and is healthy now.
I DO NOT want this to happen to anyone else. The emotional and financial stress that we went through was terrible. Please, if you have had a similar experience with this horrible man, Steve Quick, contact me. We need to all get together and do something about this! I WILL NOT let this go and I am very adamant about getting Steve Quick's kennel shut down for good. We have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau of East Texas, the Attorney General of Consumer Affairs of TX, Puppyfind.com, and the AKC.
It is a very simple process to file a complaint. I strongly suggest that anyone that has issues with Steve Quick or Pawpatch Kennels to file a complaint, as well. I have read all of the other reports on this website and see that this has unfortunately happened to many others. This means that Steve's kennel has got to be infested with parvo. All of the other poor puppies that will be born there and/or the dogs are at risk. If you feel the same way about shutting down Steve Quick's kennel, please send a message back and we will do everything we can together to stop this horrible "breeder" from continuing with his scheming ways.

In regards to Steve Quick from Pawpatch Ridgebacks, I feel strongly positive about his puppies and kennel. I purchased a puppy from Steve November 2008. Steve was incredibly well, with returning phone calls and or e-mails, often sending pictures for updates since i live in Washington and didn't have the opportunity to personally see her. My puppy, Remington came to me completely healthy and beautifully well cared for. After I received her , within a couple weeks i had all paperwork in regards to her health certificate and all papers needed to register her. In the USA, all animals cross state lines need certain shots and tests to determine the Health and safety for shipping and also for controlling disease. I cant say enough positive things about Pawpatch Ridgebacks. My dog is beautiful and healthy, never having any health problems. I'm sorry however for your puppies illness, and can understand the anger and financial strain that could cause, but buying and owning a animal has a responsibilities, one of which is sometimes animals get sick and it unfortunately costs seemingly more than for us humans. I hope everything is good now and your dog is healthy.
