I paid good money for a storage unit and did business with them for years. When we went to get our stuff, not only did we find a rat (which we found in a box!!) had ruined half of our stuff which is bad enough but they had a leak in their roof which destroyed two of our shelves. I took photos of the damage as well as the obvious roof leak and emailed it to them.

The girl in the office thought they should pay for our shelves since it was a problem with the unit itself. But rather than do the right thing they insisted that it was not their responsibility!! A roof leak!! I think $50 a month for a 5 x 10 storage should at least have something as basic as the roof in good repair. Take your business elsewhere. Two $100 shelves ruined. They do not do the right thing for their customers.
