1. I placed my order via paylesslotions.com, a yahoo merchant website, on May 31 2008 asking them to verify receipt and if I would be able to receive it by June 10th. Basically, I needed California Tan because my child was going to camp and we/she is allergic to everything else. If they could not get it to me by June 10th I would have to go elsewhere.
2. Not only did I not receive order confirmation, I did not receive an answer to my question. Please note at this point my credit card had not been charged.
3. After not hearing from them I contacted yahoo directly (store-abuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com) because I needed to know how to contact the company. Their 800 number just rang and rang, and they did not respond to e-mail either. Anyway, even though I did not ever hear directly from paylesslotions, I did receive a partial order shortly after my e-mail to yahoo. At this point my credit card was charged for the entire order - both the products I received and the products on 'back order'. Plus, priority shipping with insurance, which they 'recommend'.
4. It is now September and I have yet to receive my full order.
5. The website paylesslotions.com is gone. The idiots however kept sending me coupons via paylesslotions@yahoo.com and from these e-mails I found them at darkdesirelotion.com. It looks as though they are no longer affiliated with yahoo but, get this, they are verified by 'authorize.net' and 'volusion SSL'. Both verifications are dated September 2008.... Go figure. Volusion is another merchant like yahoo and I think I will be sending them an e-mail regarding this company......
Bottom Line: I hope you read this before you place an order with this company!!!!!! I am not so much worried about receiving a refund as I am about the fact that they have my credit card information!!!!!! Rest assured I will be contacting my credit card company ASAP.
