PBJ Pinting has BBB rating of F. Wish I'd checked them out instead of being duped by Jeff Sapp.

Here's my BBB report:

In May 2016, we contracted with PBJ Painting via its owner, Jeff Sapp, to have our house painted with two coats of paint.
We were told the second coat of paint was being applied, when we could clearly see that half of the house was its original color (no paint applied at all).
There are places on the house where the original color STILL shows through. We have many pictures of these areas.
We have contacted Jeff on the following dates: May 22, May 23 (we paid in full) and told him of the areas where paint needed to be touched up. On that date, he said he had stopped by the house but rain prevented him from seeing any issues. That day at 5:30 pm, Jeff said that Manuel would be out the following day to apply paint. We should have paint waiting outside. No one showed. June 4, we asked when touch up work would be completed. No response from Mr. Sapp. After we contacted Sherwin Williams Paint Company, we received a call on June 29 from someone saying they worked for Jeff. No work or contact happened June 30, as promised by the unknown caller. Jeff texted on July 1st that Ivan would be out Monday or Tuesday.

On July 5, a man in a white unmarked truck arrived at our home at 4:40 pm. He was talking on the phone. I gestured for him to roll down the window and asked if he was here to work on the house and did he know what needed to be fixed? He said I needed to wait, rolling back up the window. I went back inside. By 5 pm the truck was gone. Jeff said he would do no further work on the house. He said his contract was fulfilled, as 36 gallons of paint had been sprayed on the house. Any further problems were a Sherwin Williams Paint issue.  He told Sherwin Williams I frightened his workman. How, I have no clue. The man never got off the phone or out of his truck, and I was easily 20 feet from the vehicle.  Since his crew has lied before, I'm not surprised. Its's just another excuse for Jeff to not fulfill his contract w us.

We realize no one is perfect, but Jeff’s lack of presence at our property to meet with us and address our concerns, show us he is hiding behind contractors, and now Sherwin Williams.

We concur with his BBB rating of F, as we see numerous similar complaints filed against him. We also found other comparable online complaints linked to his name going back to 2010.
