I signed up for a year contract with this company to service my kids computer.  They claimed to be able to do the majority of the work remotely.  After trying to service my computer they told me I would need to bring it in.  I brought it in and left it, not hearing from them until I got a call from their sales person wanting to start taking care of my business needs.  I told him that my computer was still at their office and that I didn't want to sign my business up until they fixed my kids computer.

He called me back shortly and told me the computer was done and at the office for me to pick up.  I picked it up and try to turn it on when I got home and got a message saying, "system reboot disc required".  I couldn't even get into the computer to try and get remote help.  I am busy and didn't have time to take it back yet.  In the meantime I received another call from the salesperson trying to get me to sign my busines up.  I told him my computer still isn't fixed and I wasn't interested until they fixed my computer.

He said he would send someone out to fix it.  He did, but the guy couldn't fix it at my house and needed to take it into the office to fix.  They called once telling me it was fixed and that they would bring it back to my house, to call them and set up a time.  I called them back and could never get through, left multiple messages though.  Well months went by and I never heard anything from them. Then last month I got a message on my phone asking me if I wanted to sign up for a new years membership!!!  SERIOUSLY!  I ignored the message but then notice that I was starting to get a charge on my card for their services.

I called the company and got the run around.  I asked for a refund of the recent charges and also my last years membership fee, since they STILL have my computer.  He told me they couldn't give me a refund.  I said, "Well, I will come pick up my computer then."  He said they didn't have my computer anymore and that it was my fault that I waited so long to contact them.  I asked to speak to the owner and he said that I couldn't do that.  I asked for the owner's name and he gave me a phony name, "Charles" and refused to give me a last name.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

If you take a look at update #2 you can see that PC Care Support stated they tried to contact me to come pick up the computer after they took it from my house.  It is good to see they are not taking peoples computers in house.   I am not a competitor.  I am one of the many screwed customers that am happy to spread the word about how dishonest and unethical PC Care Support is. If you haven't you should take a look at BBB and see how poorly your employer rates and how many complaints there have been.  I am sorry that you are working for this company!

I am an employee of PC Care Support. I have worked here for over a year. I am confused on why this article is still up. Here at PC Care support we dont even have a service where someone can bring a computer into a shop. There is no shop to bring it to. We ONLY do in-home, and remote fixes. This article was obviously written by one of our many competetors. This is an entire article written about how horrible an experience was that could not have even been experienced, due to the services we offer, and the services you claimed to have recieved this article is not truthful, and its hurting our business.

MParrish,

We are sorry for any frustration or miscommunication we have caused you.  Although, we do have it noted in your account that we contacted you to come pick it up. After 6 months of holding a computer we do recycle them. As for the renewed membership, we would be more than happy to refund you for the two month to month charges. Again, we would love to help you. Please let us know.
