on 1/18/2014 I decided to try a software to clean my registry. My computer was running slow and choppy vidoes. I saw that McAfee who is my virus protection software suggested this company. I downloaded this software and found all these errors. I sense did the same with another company and found the same errors. Even though PC Health Boost cleaned them off after I bought the sofware.
Anyway I had to call 800-249-8391to register. I thought that was odd. I get a tech on the phone and he tells me to do this and that. He then asks me did I see the icon. I said no.. He ask this question several more times and again I said no. Then he told me he would have to have access to my computer. I give it.. Now he begans to ask me who is my virus vendor McAfee I said. He says they are a great company but you know they do not help with finacial secruity, or adware or malware... then I realize I am in a hard sell. He ask me did I want to leave Bing as my browser .. Who is he to determine who my home browser is? Finally the hard sell begins and he starts telling ne see look at this ..oh you got troble. here and here and here. Souded like a mechanic trying to sell more service at a much higher price.. .then he states for a whole year I could gat a tech to service my compter and that he was going to swtich me over to the tech to fix what I thought I just bough was going to fix... I hung up fast turned off my computer to get this scam artist out of my system. He called me back I did not pick up. I went to paypal and put in a report to dispute said product did not help my system. I still am slow. I do not know if he stole any information on my system..

Thank you so much for your response. I want to clarify that PC Health Boost is my product, and we are not associated with this complaint in Henderson, NV for Total PC Fix. It would be really appreciated if all mentions of our product are taken out of here if at all possible.

thanks for clarifying you are not associated with PC Health Boost. No harm to you. Its difficult to find the correct vendor Since I was not on thier page but on a advert that lead me to them. I do not want to put any shame to your company. Just PC BOOST HEALTH..

Hi,
I'm not sure about the actual complaint regarding PC Health Kit Fix IT.com, but I did want to distinguish that the company that you call "pc health boost(tm)" is not the same company as the one that you are referring to. The PC Health Kit FIx IT company is based in Henderson, NV with a call center and the other company that is tacked onto this company's bad reputation doesn't use any of these services or phone numbers that you mention. Their sales office is located in Naples, FL near their call center and headquarters in Boston
However, this type of phone call is standard with tech centers and you are probably safe. They are legally bound to not store any information. If the call center is not based in the US, that is when you really need to be cautious. Also, most of these companies promise at least a 60 day money back guarantee, and if they the complaint that you filed, you can bet your booty that they'll refund no matter what. :)
Not all problems are registry problems, but they should be able to tell you if they are or aren't and fix it for you if it is a registry problem.
