I received my tenant package insurance renewal which went from $143 to $218!! To add insult to injury, the cover letter did not address this horendous increase but did ask that I contact all of my family and friends and give them a referral to this broker!
I went online to find a lower quote and was pleased to find PC Insurance (after completing quite a detailed form) was $169 - substantially lower then my broker. I then had to call to confirm the information and was shocked to be told that in fact, the policy would be - wait for it- $290.00!!!
What kind of a lost leader scam is this. I have always been impressed with PC as a grocery company but their insurance arm is outrageous! Maybe more of us need to complain and get on Facebook to let people know how bad it is!!!
