In march of 2007 i was in a market for a new laptop "my 1th one" and i didn't want to deal with best buy or circuit city but on a recommendation from my "mom" to see PC Richard and believe me this is my final times deal with these "con artist"
so anyway i bought a HP dv9205us with a 2yrs plan but they didn't have it but at another store in Rego Park so i when there and pick it up and now forward to end sept of 2007
so i was experience some computer problem "cable port was not working no connection" and also i got that 2yrs ext warranty plan so i took this computer to the woodside store and i walk up to the front counter and i ask to see a technician and they told me to wait "and for 45min" i waited and the management and sale associate were more concern about there d**n conversation and then i ask again and this time i got some help so now they are looking at my machine and they hook it up and test out the internet and it work but i told them is doesn't
and we talk about option and when i ask them can i drop it off for service "they refuses" and i ask them why and they tell me is work and even the manager ask if it work and they reply it does i was so mad that they have refuses to sent this laptop and also broke the TOA with there policy
so now move froward to another nightmare with hp
from oct 3 to nov 12
HP and it evil way lied and cant answer any question when i ship my original why they hired dumb!@# rateated who ask really dumb question and never enter any vital information and when they do the mis_spell my computer and my personal information
and also they lied about when i going to receive my laptop and while i was on oct 18 they sent my computer to nyc but for some mysterious reason they sent a noted to fedex to sent it back because they sent my original laptop "unfix" that was there explanation when i got back
the case manager are useless in the begging i got one who cant speak on d**n English "omg"
my original case manager was replace by another person and we talk about my need and get this problem taken care of so after that she gave me 2 option
1.attemp to fix my 1th laptop
2.give me a whole laptop "but there was a catch 88" take up to 10-21 days
a few week going by so i make another call to HP and i explain that i have a service contract with PC Richard and i ask her is it possible that PC Richard can give me another laptop because is got too out of CONTROL
and she said is worth a try is up to them "not me"
so since woodside store wont help i call the store where i bought originally union sq/14st and i ask to speak to an manager about what happen and he told that i speak to the service dept and i did that and i explain my situation and after few hour playing phone tags i was speaking to the wright person and i explain of what happen and i thought he was going to help me and promises me a call back about an hours latter a lady call from PC Richard inform me that is will talk 7 to 10 day and i explain to her of what happen and how unfair this was so i try one more time i call the service center and union/14st store and i didn't get no where with the service center but the manager at the store after yet again explain of what happen he told me that he will not there on monday but he will leave a notes to another manager who he told me will call me on monday and never did

I have trust in "pc richard"
i meet the DM in the astoria and he did the sale personal and i was able to get the HP dv9640us for my gaming
so thank you pc richard
and also i was orginally doing at "rego park store" but after one manager asign me to an indian manger but i want this laptop with a 2yrs ext plan i didnt have enough money she suggested to me
>that buy the laptop and come tomorrow and pay the ext warranty
which is could be illegal and wrong !
so the next day they this same store will not do the sales and after i call the DM the manager say to him that "he was the only manager & the computer were down" this guy at the rego park store should told me that and fired the indian manager for even suggesting that
but at the end i got my laptop w/ the 2yrs years and i'm happy :>)

You can't connect to the internet, yet when you took it to the store, the techs connected to the internet with it? That would indicate that your laptop is not configured properly to connect with your internet service provider at home.
I would suggest that you call your ISP tech support and ask them to walk you thru the configuration process so that your laptop will connect with your ISPs system.
Oh, and a side note: ""the case manager are useless in the begging i got one who cant speak on d**n English 'omg' ""
