pc richards/ge capital cons cardco ripping me off. deceptive company rip-off scam dirt bags louisville Kentucky

I purchased an air conditioner from pc richards in august of 2001 for almost $700. i had 90 days to pay. i sent a check for 1/3 of amount owed and then sent another $98. i know that this amount doesn't total $700 and that i did not payoff in 90 days. what's troubling me is that the money paid was not applied to my first purchase but to purchases i made afterwards. according to ms. nakia because i didn't pay off balance during the promotional period all future payments went towards the balances on on items that are not due until the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003. after all the money i have paid ($797), i still owe $525.97. i have however paid off a boom box, and stereo system that i purchased in december and i'm almost done paying off for a printer i purchased in april of 2002. how do they explain that? they don't. what happened to the $256 i paid before time elasped? why is the difference only $160.27. could this be part of the scam? why wasn't the money applied to my second purchase, the computer? is it because pc richards think that i am not going to pay it off in time and then the store will get a couple more hundreds from me? i don't think so!!! i have cut the card in half and will never do business with pc richards/CONS cardco again. i will also tell the people that i work with to not shop their with a pc richards card. marva bronx, New York
