I'm in the process of trying to obtain a refund for a motherboard I purchased from these scammers.  When I installed the board it showed an error code which was diagnosed by the manufacturer (EVGA) an an indication of a defective board.  When I contacted pcplanet support using the form on their website they asked for my system info which I provided. Then they refused to respond further.  I finally got a response only after threatening them with action from Visa.

The invoice that came with the product contained no info: no company name, address, phone number...nothing.  I
finally obtained an RMA number and an address to return the board. They claim they will replace it or issue "store
credit" if they find it fails "their tests". yeah right. I know I'm in for a hassle because I won't accept either of
those options. I'll only accept a refund. I'm including their last message to me. The grammar is atrocious.  Who
are these jerkoffs? I've never dealt with a company so bogus.

Instead of keep threatening us with contacting your Credit Card Company which you are more than free to do it and in
that case your account will be turned to our legal dept for proper response to your bank and if needed to proper
collection agencies, send the product back for either store credit or replacement, your RMA # is the same as your order # and needs to be printed in the box, upon return and further testing to verify in fact the product is malfunctioning (that unit was tested 100% operative at the moment it was shipped out)we'll issue a replacement or store credit, lastly the last name you mentioned is not related to our company, but we can tell from your PROPER research you may be assuming we are PC Planet from Corona, Ca which WE ARE NOT, as a side note next time make sure to be certain before accusing or providing incorrect information.

Best regards,

RMA DEPT

They claim they are not affiliated with the PCPlanet systems in Corona yet the phone number on their website (www.pcplanetsystems.com/about_us.htm)  949-645-3493 is the phone number of Osvaldo Chiri of 1051 Placid Drive, Corona CA .and also listed as the phone number and address of pcplanet systems referring to Chiri as the owner.

My guess is that they changed their address/company name to avoid the people chasing them. Other complaint sites I have visited have horror stories similar and in many cases much worse than mine.

John Mustanich from Albion Ridge Road Albion, California, 95410

has posted a false and misleading comment, He mentioned people that are not related to the transaction mentioned, This person ordered a Discontinued EVGA motherboard which was shiped in time and manner, that unit was tested 100% operative at the time of shipment. John Mustanich lied about the condition of the motherboard he received, PC Planet offered issuing an RMA for either replacement or store credit in the amount of the order, This is the typical scenario when the user order a discontinued product then recover all files needed in his computer and then make false statements about a non working product in order to get a refund, this person agreed to pc planet terms and conditions upon purchase where clearly states RMA's are only for replacement or store credit, ALL Technology Vendors and other merchants be very careful taking or processing any order from the above person, is not a reliable customer and writes untruthful reviews in order to get a compensation. Lastly PC Planet Systems is located in Costa Mesa Ca, and is not related in anyway to pc planet based in Corona, ca
