Yes Pcrenu is a poor company to deal with.

The first problem I had was buying a new Acer computer at thier shop.
Part of the problem was my fault for not looking around first. I had spent a fair chunk of change on this unit. When I got home I figured I would look up this system on the internet and see what they are going for. What a mistake that was. I could have got a way better system from bestbuy, futureshop , walmart, or even tigerdirect, for about $250 less. Needless to say, i was mad.
I went back the next day and asked if they would match the price. The answer I got was no. I asked if I could return the system, same answer, no.
Long story short.....I am stuck with a computer system I paid way to much for....like I said $250 to much for.

Second problem was that I had bought a used laptop from them before I bought the new Acer system. I started having trouble with the laptop shortly after buying the Acer. I took the laptop to them to fix (was randomly shutting down for no reason). They first told me, after looking at it for a week, there's no problem. I took the laptop home, sure enough, it was doing the same thing. I take it back and inform them of the problem wasn't fixed and it's still not working proper. After another week I'm told it's fixed and ready to go. When I go to pick it up, I asked what the problem was. I'm told it was a power supply issue and it needed to be cleaned up. Luckily they didn't charge me for it, doing me a favor, after being screwed out of $250 on the Acer. Sounded fair....right. I take the laptop back home and try it out. It starts out asking me for Operating System Install disk because a file is missing...strange it didn't do that when I dropped it off, to be fixed. I figure, oh well, reinstall the operating system (Windows XP). I find an XP install disk already in the CD-rom. Obviously someone knew there still was a problem, but did nothing to fix it, or didn't know how to fix it. After trying to install XP and still having problems, I decide to talk to a pc guru at work. He ran a program that checks all the hardware and lets you know if it's working proper. Turns out the hard-drive was toast. Obviously at this point I wasn't going to take it back to PCrenu. I purchased a new hard-drive from bestbuy, installed it myself and reinstalled windows XP. Seems to work flawlessly now.

My advise, buy a new system anywhere else than PCrenu, it'll save you alot of money. Don't ask them to fix your computer as they seem quite incompitent, ask a coworker or friend for advice it could save you a few $$$s.
