I am truely surprised by what I have just read about Peachy Keene.  I purchased my awesome dog 7 years ago and she is the sweetest, smartest and loving dog I have ever had.  Chris had to ship our dog to us by plane and was so strict on how she would be sent and would not put the dog on the plane if the tempature was not perfect since it was September and we live in Florida.  Even 1 degree off and she said she would not let her get on the plane.  Every person that meets our dog raves about her - that she is so good and loving and everyone wishes to have a dog like her.  We live on a golf course and you hear the golfers pass by and say hi to her and she never leaves her property and we have no fence.  She is so well behaved and intellegant.  I rave about her all the time and tell people that the breeder was fantastic.  I highly recommend Chris of Peachy Keene with out a doubt!

I have 2 BCs that I purchased thru Chris -- one directly from her and the other thru her. They both are wonderful dogs. When I visited and saw where the dogs lived, I could tell that they were very well cared for - both physically and emotionally.

I went to the trouble to register and post this because I think that the original poster must definitely have a personal grudge against Chris that prompted her to make up the details that she posted.

I purchased a puppy from PeachyKeen's partner in Pennsylvania in 2008. Layla is an amazing BC, well bred especially her temperament. even though I've never met Chris Peach personally she has always been helpful about our dog. She and Shawnee followed up and through filing all the necessary breeder documents and always keep in touch. I would disagree with the statements that Ms. Ohio claims. I would purchase another dog from Chris or Shawnee if I was in need of a puppy. Chris, thank you for being a responsible breeder of the most amazing dogs there is.

I found peachy keen on the web when I was looking to buy a border pup. I contacted Chris peach by phone and she was very informative and helpful. She was great about me coming out to her place to meet the dogs and check it all out. She really worked with me to get me just the right "fit" in a pup.The dogs were beautiful and friendly, and happy. I would have loved to take mama dog home! She has a nice rural setting which is absolutely great for the dogs. The moms had been in the house (they stole a sandwich). Chris kept me posted with pics of the puppies untill they were ready. I couldn't be more pleased with my pup or peachy keen. I am continually stopped by admirers with my dog and I always enthusiastically recommend peachy keen!

The person who posted must be on drugs, they did not visit with the dog breeder I know! Their visit must have happened in her in mind. Chris Peach aka Peachykeen Border Collies, is a very respectful breeder. Her dogs are top notch and I am proud to say she treated me with the utmost of kindness when I purchased my puppy. She made every attempt to see that I received the ideal dog for my situation. She not only went above and beyond to see that the best of care was given to the puppy. But I have been approached by many professionals since, inquiring about my dog, mentioning over and over what a top quality animal she is. I can say that her credentials have never been in question as far as I know, but can not say the same for the poster who has had public rants on Facebook that I have seen first hand. Shame on you for blasting a respectful person because you have spun a twisted a web of lies!

Post pictures of your kennels :)  Have someone take pictures of you in front of the kennels with a paper with the date and time on it.  Easy enough.  That'll nail the other one to the wall with libel which is illegal :)  I'd do it and then press charges, assuming your kennels are great.

I would like to vouch for the integrity of Chris Peach.  She has taken great care to ensure the safety and well-being of her animals.  She breeds with careful attention to health and temperament.

I have been to her house, and all of the animals there were very well cared for!  We have the most amazing puppy that was born and bred at the home of Chris Peach.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her line of Border Collies to anyone!

This is one Border Collie owner who is a big fan of Chris Peach!  I will take great pride in continuing this lPeachy Keen line!

I personal know Chris Peach and I think VERY HIGHLY of her.  She take great care of her dogs  and her place is amazing! Her dogs are outstanding.   

To the person who wrote I think you need to get your facts straight.  Why would you file this if you were there a YEAR ago... and your just now filing it. Something says LIES right there.  

Her yard is beautiful, Her puppies are raised right in her home under foot the way they should be raised!!!!!!  

Breeders should strive to be like Chris who LOVE there dogs and take GREAT care of them.

Chris I love you and your amazing! Don't let people get you down they are just so totally jealous they can't produce pups like yours!

I find this report interesting as they do not list full contact information and I haven't had anyone here from Ohio EVER.  I believe this report was filed bogusly by Stephanie Young of Sweetwater Border Collies since I had filed a ripoff report about her regarding the purchase of a dog from her kennel. 

My dogs do not live in filthy conditions, nor do I have 20 puppies at one time. I do have chickens which are housed/cooped in a seperate portion of my yard.  My yard and property is clean. My dogs are well cared for.   The people that have purchased puppies from me have always loved visiting here and loved the puppy that they took home. My dogs, unless it is raining, have free access to large turn out yards and with fresh water at all times.  They are not housed in a storage building.

My puppies are raised inside my home, and only go out during portions of the day when it is nice outside. 

Stephanie, you're not fooling anyone!!!!!! If this were a legitimate complaint, why would someone wait one year to post about it?  I'll tell you why, it's because stephanie young just saw the ripoff report that I posted about her.
