I bought Peak 10 Publihsing's Secret Gas Savings Switch CD-ROM for $27.00 plus $5.95 shipping and handling. It took two weeks to ship and it contains no more information on saving gas than a quick Google search will reveal.
The teaser on the web site builds it up as if they will reveal some secret that simply needs to be turned on inside your car's engine or computerized fuel management system to double your fuel economy. It's completely bogus. The 25+ page pdf spends most of the content explaining things that you could ask a mechanic or look up online for yourself. It never discusses the "secret switch". It just tells you to keep your tires properly pressurized, do maintenance on schedule (oil change, brakes, etc.), pay cash for gasoline most of the time, unless you have a credit card where you can earn free points.
The entire thing is a waste of time and money. I've asked for a refund today, 22 Feb 2014. We'll see how long it takes for Peak 10 Publishing to reply.

@Common Sense
First of all, you cannot expect me to take you seriously when you attack me in your first sentence. Secondly, you must have absolutely zero self worth if you're trolling the web to berate someone who was ripped off. Third, learn how to spell and use propper grammar. You're silly enough to think that I would really be insulted by you? I've heard drunk monkeys come up with better sewer talk than you. Keep drinking the narcisistic and self-righteous kool aid upon which you are currently intoxicated.
Peak Publishing has a long history of complaints with the BBB.
I don't vote for Dems, period.
You should consider a career change. Maybe you should find something constructive to do, like helping other people. You're not very good in your position as an arrogant, a*****e-loser/internet troll.

You need to use more common sense. You were silly enough to think you had a "switch" in your car holding back the fuel economy? Really? Are you that uninformed on life? If so, You Should be writing a Ripoff report on RedBull since it says it gives you wings, but actually doesn't. How sinister of them to lie like that... Lol
You want the only advise on saving money on gas that works...? Don't drive!
Frankly I wonder if you are fit To drive considering how dumb you sound in bashing a company like Peak. While yes their ads are sometimes mildly misleading, they are never blatant lies. They offered you information to saving on gas. Yes they exaggerated, but they did offer legitimate facts. Just because you can find those facts elsewhere, doesn't mean they ripped you off. You were just another sucker that got sold a dream that you couldn't possibly believe is true..
You must havevoted for Obama too I imagine..
Bravo!
