If you want to get treated with disrespect, this is the company for you.

First, Peak 5's format to recieve payments is for you to mail them in. If you call on the phone to make a payment, then you are charged 10 dollars. I sent a payment to this company on the 29th of November. On the 12th of December, I get a call telling me that they had not recieved it. I immediately called back concerned, and was treated like a second class citizen. I was told they had not received my payment and that I was getting charged 5 dollars per day in interest. I was willing to pay by phone, but didnt want to get charged 10 dollars, as I did not feel this was my fault. The supervisor, if that is what you want to call him, was very unprofessional and told me to "handle my business, you are a grown man". This is clearly the terminology that he learned from a crack alley in Denver.

Anyways, my question to him was why there system is set up for the customer to fail? If I call in a payment, I have to pay 10 bucks, no matter what. If I mail it, and you dont get it, then I have to pay 10 bucks no matter what. Hmmmm.. I feel like this is some sort of predatory lending.

I paid the ten bucks again and let them know that they are the worst, and I mean absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with.

If you are a consumer reading this.. PLEASE do not invest in this company in any way shape or form. I am sure they have changed their name 3 times in 2 years and dont have a website for a reason!

When the new owner took over the company in Feb 2007 naturally he renamed it from Centrix to Flatiron. The company still is Flatiron. Peak 5 is the name of the collections department that functions under its parent company. Its typically referred to as expansion. Your right. Investors shouldn't invest unless the everyone defaults on there loans and they make a whole bunch of money from someone else's inability to stamp a envelope and mail it 7-10 days BEFORE your due date. What type of "crack alley" do people discuss responsibility and accountability? Sounds like a great city when even the crack heads are educated. Good luck to you sir.
