Pedfast Technologies Selling software as "Mac" when it's not. Frankfort Illinois

I purchased iPed for Mac from Pedfast Technologies.  The software description according to the website is this "For decades, Apple's Mac family of computers has set the standard for ease-of-use.  Everyone loves to use the Mac.  However, pedigree management software would only run inside of an emulator such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion.  Slowly and inconveniently.  No more!  iPed™ 4G for the Mac is here.  It runs in OSX.  No Parallels or VMWare.  The legendary PedFast Technologies ease of use.  Easily installed.  Download and run."

The supposed Mac version of the software costs more than the Windows version of the same software.  I paid for the Mac version.  When I installed the software, I was extremely disappointed to discover that it is in fact running in an emulator, contrary to the express description provided.  The emulator used is Wine, an open-source product.  

The description of the software indicated it would have Mac's "standard fort ease-of-use".  However, the key mapping is obviously Windows, as simply commands like command-c to copy, the Apple standard, do not work. Again, contrary to the description provided.

Becasue the product is running in an emulator, the fonts and graphics are not up to standard, looking more like a old Windows program than a Mac program.  Again, contrary to the description provided.  There is no Help file, so no way for non-Windows users to know what key mapping is in place since it's not Apple standard.

My complaint, and request for a refund, was met name calling and with threats to sue if I complained publicly about the software.

DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY!
