Firstly, I would say don't ever call just one lawyer when you need help. You have to shop around. After having given Mr Pelly $3500, I had to find another lawyer and make a deal for a lower price. Mr. Pelley trotted out a long contract the enable him to keep all of my hard-earned cash. I can't say it enough! Shop around for lawyers, find out up front what they will or will not do. Mr. Pelley wanted $5,000 but did not tell me up front that he would not lift a single finger to help me until he got every penny 1st. This taught me a lesson about lawyers. Pay them everything up front or just don't sign the contract or give them ANY MONEY! Ater dumping Mr. Pelley I ended up shopping by phone for lawyers, asking fees, and what would they deliver and how. I met with two others before handing over more money. You need to understand that lawyers are different from everyone else on the planet. They go to school to learn the art of talking a lot and saying nothing. They also know how to take the ordinary person apart bit-by-bit with words. I was attracted to this guys website where he seemed so sympathetic. Don't fall for it. My recommendation is to simply avoid the guy. He's listed on his website as a Super Lawyer. I don't know what that means. I say STAY AWAY!
