Pen Impressions, Carolina Pencil Company, Bright 'N Natural, Carla Louise Leonard ripoff Davie Florida

We purchased $301.10 worth of pens and pens holders from Pen Impressions in the early part of May. The order was placed with a fast turn around time-estimated delivery date was 2-3 days-on May 13th. On the 26th of May I called up Pen Impressions and spoke with a Linda and informed her that I wanted to inquire as to what was going on with the order since we hadn't received it and paid for express delivery. She informed me that the order was mixed up with a school and acted as if she didn't understand me when I said the order was for Abtech Systems. I informed her that I wasn't happy and I wanted to know the status of the order-she said she would call me back. On the 27th of May I received a call from her and she stated that the order was being processed and we should receive it soon.

On June 8th I called Pen Impressions again and told Linda to cancel our order. That we have not received it and if they have no tracking number on the items the supposively shipped then the order is still stuck at their location. She said she would process the cancellation and give it to accounting to credit us back. She said it should show up on the following months visa bill.

7-12-04 I called and spoke to Linda again. Informed her that we never received our credit for the order. She said she would follow up with the woman in accounting and that she would call me back. Called her repeadtely throughout the month of July and never got a straight answer from her on our credit.

I called her again on 08/02/04 and demanded to know the status of the credit and wanted confirmation that the credit was made. She informed me that the accounts payable woman was out sick but she said she would do her best to follow up-she didn't. Called again on 08/18 and informed Linda that I needed that credit back. Informed her that they never shipped out the products but we were still charged for the service. She said that the credit was good to go and we will see it-once again-in the following month.

On 09/01/04 I followed up with accounting and there was no credit back. Called and left another message at Pen Impressions. 09/10/04 and 09/20/04 I called and left messages. 09/21/04, 09/22/04, and 09/23/04 I spoke with Linda and she kept telling me she would follow up, she would get me the credit, etc.

Despite numerous requests along with numerous promises, we still have not received a credit.

This company has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB. The owner also ran a company called Fly 'N Stay Vacations that ripped people off before it was shut down. If you go to the Florida Secretary of State website, you can see all of the companies that were started by Carla Leonard, aka Carla L. Leonard, aka Carla Louise Leonard.

This woman must have hundreds if not thousands of victims from her scam business's. I want to join a class action if someone wants to step up and take this woman on.
