PENOFIN PRODUCT TURNED MY BRAND NEW 6200.00 deck black within a couple months.. the company is so rude and they do not care about the consumer!!! The customer service people are quick to blame the home owner or the wood!! Except one problem with this PENOFIN your product is designed and states on your can protects against UV rays & Mildew!! Your can even states it has the best on the market protection!!

EPIC FAIL DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT 

had i been aware of the complaints I’ve recently found online, I’d of gone with a different product!! months of hard work building this deck and the end result was phenomenal UNTIL I USED PENOFIN RED LABEL ON IT!!!! The Penofin destroyed the beautiful 500 square foot cedar deck. And the cost of cedar is so expensive that I was in tears. 

i now have a black ugly mildew coated cedar deck...yes the instructions were followed to a T, I also called your support techs to make sure it was done per the specifications. ZERO reason for this other than your product sucks!!!

I've stained many many cedar decks & fences NEVER EVER HAS ONE TURNED BLACK!!!!I'm furious at this company and the lack of compassion they show- and the simple fact they still sell that same terrible product!!!!I'm expecting they will answer to the cost of replacing EVERY SINGLE CEDAR BOARD...I'm so disgusted at how RUDE and brazen the company’s customer service is to point the finger without actually physically looking at the issue!!!

How could they possibly determine the stain was applied wrong or not to the cans direction! They weren’t there!!! That tells me they are highly aware of the inferior products & are refusing to address it!!!

I am making it known I don’t make idle promises I’ve filed this complaint and a report with the Attorney Generals Office. I also plan on filing small claims against them for the repairs. I’m giving the company an opportunity via the ATG to do the right thing or I will drop the court papers off & we can discuss it with the judge!!!
