 Mark Pentecost is a complete and total liar. This guy claimed to be a professional painter with over 30 years experience. He used watered down paint on the exterior of my house and after only 3 months this stuff is literally peeling off in chunks. I called and left about 6 voicemails before the owner of the company, Mark Pentecost called me back and said I was crazy and that he never waters down his paint. Well I don't know what he did or didn't do, but a brand new paint job should last more than 3 months and the guy was so arrogant he wouldn't even come back to look at the problem/his work/the result. I would never recommend this guy to do work on your property even if he was the last contractor on the earth. I even called the State of Washington, but all that did for me was tell me that this guy isn't even licensed like he is supposed to be. The state was very interested in the work he was doing without the correct licensing and they claim to be following up on that end, but that doesn't help me or my house that now needs to be completely re painted all because this guy has no clue what he is doing and now no insurance or anything else to fall back on. He sure did take me for a ride. And this guy found me at the paint store of all places. He must just hang out and solicit business from the Miller Paint store, because I just happened to run into this guy and he claimed to be on the up and up and had business cards and everything but all this guy is, is a big time scammer. As soon as he gets your money he stops answering the phone/taking your calls. You are better off hiring your grandmother to do this type of work for you. Seriously though, don't walk, RUN the other way from this guy and hire just about anyone else and they will do a much better job for you. He also left a huge mess behind and never even bothered to come back and clean up his mess after I called about that too and even before the paint falling off concerns. His workers also were different each day and one didn't even speak English and the other said he was paid cash under the table. Both used the side of my house/property as their own personal toilet. I only found that out after the job was done and they had their money too. Wish they would have taken the used toilet tissue with them that was left on the side of my house with feces still on it. Gross.
