Contracted for People PC internet services August 2006. Immediately reconsidered and unable to recontact by phone. Email sent immediately to retract my permission to use my card and cancel my request for service.
People PC charged my credit card the next day for $4.97, after my permission to use my card was revoked. They acknowledged my email and the next month billed my card once again for $4.97. Their services were not used at all and their software was returned.
They were not harmed at all. They continue to bill for $9.94 and refuse to credit my charge card. Nice little scheme they have going. It was easy to contact them to start service; but impossible to contact them to cancel service. I will never use their service in the future and will attempt to educate others of their corporate greed.
