People PC FRAUDULENT & MIS-LEADING ADVERTISING AND BILLING Atlanta Georgia

People PC is a rip-off! They advertise $9.95 a month. I signed up and gave them my credit card number. Since then, they have cahrged $15.95 to my credit card each month. I contacted them on May 2, 2008 and cancelled my accout. I then cancelled my creditr card. I was paid up to June 22, 2008.

Now, they are harrassing me via telephone stating I owe them money. I called on 06/26/08 and spoketo someone in the Phillippines. He said I never cancelled, and that I did not owe anything. I then received a call from another foreigncounrty ststing I owe them $15.95. I told him I did not owe the money as I have moved as of May 2, 2008. He said it does not matter, and that my credit card rejected the automatic draw they tried to do.

I askef to speak to someone in the United States. He said that could not be done. I then asked why the Corporate office is listed in Gerogia. He said that it does not matter where it is located, that I would not be able to speak to anyone in the United States.

I am still attempting to get PeoplePC to cease and desist the harrassment for monies I do not owe!! I have my cancelled checks, but they do not care.

I understand that there is a class action lawsuit for these tactics by PeoplePC. I would like to be added as a claimant. I would appreciate any assistance.
