People PC ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing San Francisco California

My previous ISP (Everyone's Internet-Houston, TX) no longer offers internet service and referred their customer's to PeoplePC.

I did not accept PeoplePC internet service and instead chose another ISP on Oct. 30, 2006.

I received an invoice charging me $10.95 for service provided by PeoplePC from 11/23/06 to 12/22/06, a charge that is bogus.

PeoplePC is not my ISP nor have I used their internet service. I was told today (12/19/03) to mail a copy of my email to the coprporate offices of PeoplePC in San Francisco showing the date I informed my previous ISP that I did not want PeoplePC as my ISP.

PeoplePC contacted me today (12/19/06) leaving a automated message informing me my payment on this account was past due.

When I called PeoplePC (12/19/06) I was informed they are turning me over to collection for $10.95!

I am a senior and widow (age 74) living on a fixed income and do not want my credit ruined by PeoplePC.

Complaint's have been filed with BBB, FTC and Texas Attorney General. No action has been taken against the corporation at this time. I requested that any of my data be removed from PeoplePC records. I would appreciate any assistance and look forward to hearing from you.
