I cancelled my People Pc account in July of 2008 and went to a different service. My credit card has been charged $1.95 a month since November 2008. I contacted them several times and was told that they are charging me this as they hold my email account open for 6 months and that there is still activity on this account. I then told them to discontinue the account as I have not opened any emails from that account since August of 2008. They told me that they would cancel the account. Now it is Oct of 2009 and they are still charging my charge card. I wrote to my charge card company and told the to stop all payments to this account as they have not given me any service since July of 2008. I am still waiting for a response from my charge card company on this.
If any one has had a similiar experience and knows what I can do to stop this charge, please let me know.
