Peoples trust insurance company (Alliance & associates) middle man for peoples trust insurance company EXTREMELY PISSED OFF Deerfield Florida

Several months ago I noticed my mortgage payment rising more than $200.00 dollars a month.  Several years ago my mortgage was combined into an escrow account.  When my homeowners insurance went up more than $1100.00 dollars in one year, believe me I noticed immediatly.  I just could not afford it any longer had never filed a claim in the past.  I went on line and had several insurance companys give me a quote.  Peoples Trust insurance company qoted me a policy for only 1,742.00 dollars a year. I was very pleased and felt finally someone is trying to help and not ripp me off, I was very wrong to say the least.  Anyway in a few days an inspector came to the house took photos and left, no problem.  a few days went by and Peoples Trust contacted me via telephone.  the agent told me they have not received a payment from my mortgage company.  I contacted my mortgage company explained to them, I needed a payment sent to them to close the deal.  a week went by and Peoples trust said they still had not received a payment,  they were going to cancel my policy.  I once again contacted my mortgage company and my agent told me they did send a payment.  I called People Trust again and they told me my policy was now cancelled.  The reason they gave me was, lack of payment and I was missing several shingles from my roof (news to me).  Two days before Christmas I received a calender and a letter in the mail from Peoples Trust, yes I know I was surprised also.  I was actually dumbfounded The letter stated that Peoples Trust was going to insure me and they were welcoming me to the Peoples Trust family.  On 01-05-15 I recieved a letter explaining to me my policy was good untill 10-15-2015, however my policy would be cancelled because I'm missing a few roofing shingles. I figured I had at least a few months to fix the issue, hell the roof is still in very good shape, (WRONG!) on 01-05-15 at approximately 1700 hours I was contacted by a People's Trust insurance agent via tele-phone.  The agent told me I had ten days to fiX the roof I had to pull a permit and hire a licensed contractor to fix the missing shingles,  I also had to send colored photos and copys of all documents in relation to the roof. On top of that I had to show proof of occupancy (I'm still trying to figure that one out), anyway I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but there is something very wrong about this.

I do not get payed until 01-15-2015, I litterally live pay check to pay check, I can't afford a $200.00 dollar permit, shingles and hire a licensed contractor to sign off on the repair. I was going to do the work myself, but I do not think I will be able to get it fixed in time.  I can't believe this I was just trying to save a little money each month. Anyway I'm so disgusted with Peoples Trust Insurance company, I just felt compelled to tell my story to anyone who cares to listen, there are worse things but d**n! Please who ever reads this stay the hell away from Peoples Trust insurance company. I also saw 55 other complaints on the better business burau web sight, in reference to Peoples Trust.  I'm not sure what I will do now, I do no that by federal law if you have a mortgage you must have insurance. So I guess a foreclosure is in the near future, thanks RIPPOFF REPORT.COM for letting me rant, GOD BLESS.
