Pepperidge Farm breach of contract fraud policy abuse threats intimidation Indianapolis(local) Norwalk, Ct (main) Indiana

I am suppose to be an independant businessman and owner of my own route with pepperidge farm....have been for 15 years. it even says so in my contract.

For the past 6 years give or take they have constantly have been in breach of contract and trying to charge you for product you have never ordered or needed...they just send it to you and figure if the store you doesn't take it --you have to pay for it.

It's like Sears sending you an air condtioner and you return it but Sears still demands you pay for it.

There are over 3000 of us owners of these route and businesses across the country and this practice is wide spread. They know it too....most of us have a large loan payment to pay each month for the business besides are own bills-----the farm knows this and just keeps doing it because they know no one has the funds to fight them.

The people who are the district and area managers seem to think and act like they are our bosses , and can threatened us and put demands on us and if we don't do it they harrass us and charge us for product and other things we never ordered or need.

We are not an employee of the farm or the bakeries---it says so in our contracts.....so if that's the case and they are getting away with it now ....in my mind that is fraud because if we have to put up with people telling us and theatening us for things they want us to do then we are not our own businessmen...we are their employees???

If that is the case then they need to repay us for all of our back taxes we have been paying.......i believe there is an irs law stating this.

The farm does not pay us or give us any benefits.......we pay all of our costs out of our pocket..from insurance to gas and taxes. This is fine we expect that-----we do not expect people threatening us with taking away our routes and charging us for product we never order or need so the are managers can "make their sales numbers" at our expense.

i have been trying to get someone to listen to this story.....this company will continue to use and abuse us until someone or some goverment agency or lawyers put a stop to this.

if there ever was a story that should be on the news or a show like dateline or something like that ...well this is it.......
Some of these guys need to be going to jail for this......coroporate greed and fraud and deception it's here and they know it and will continue to do this until somebody stops them........can anyone please help us put an end to this before they ruin all of our businesses we have all worked very hard to build and grow.
