My service engine soon light came on, so I took my car to Perfect auto Service in n. las vegas. The Mgr. there Kris said he had to run a diagnostics test to find the problem. He came back to me and said my Engine Control Module was bad. It had to be replaced and that it would cost me 450.00. I was shocked to say the least. I paid him the money because I had to have my car. He then told me it would take some time so he had his driver take me home. I went back before closing to get my car. He said I would have to leave it over night because they were not finished. At 10.00 A.M. Kris Mgr called and said my car was ready. I went in and picked up my car and said thank you. Two days later the light came back on. I took it back. He then proceeds to tell me that now the oxegen sensor needed to be replaced and he would do it for 140.00. I said are you crazy I just paid you 450.00 to fix my problem and now you tell me that this is a different problem. He went on to try and tell me that he put on my ECM and then the diagnostic showed the sensor was bad. I ask him to show me the test so I could see what it said. He then said Oh I can't. I ask him for a print out of the first test he said he doesn't keep that. Then I look at my copy of my receipt and all it has on it was 250.00 for labor, 189.00 for the part, 34.00 for tax and 65.00 for test. It has nothing to show what the diagnostic test said, or what part was needed, no part number, nothing about a warranty, no signature from tech who worked on my car, no signature from Kris (Mgr.) who took my payment. nohing in the spot where it says time in. I told him that by law he had to give me a detailed printout he refused said that he would put the sensor on for 140.00 to fix my problem if not there was nothing else he could do. Then he said he couldnt give me a report because their computer was broke. He then gave me a broken sensor and said see this is what you need. Oh this is the kicker times two.... If you add up my reciept (from above) it doesn,t even match. I took the broken sensor to a car parts store and they told me that that sensor could not have come off off my car. It 100% was not from off my vehicle. Then when I confronted him again the lies just kept rolling iout of his mouth as fast as he could speak. So much more to tell but I get sick just thinking about it. I told him that I didn't appreciate that he was talking to me like I was a - - - - fool.
