I entered into agreement December 2013 with Performant Recovery Inc. Initially they took approximately 1100.00 out of my payroll check then stated I would need to make an initial payment of 360.00 to enter into student loan rehab, so I made that payment. In november 2014 they were still trying to take 360.00 monthly out of my bank account. I called the company and asked when i would get my new loan servicer, I was informed that this could take an additional 3 months. Its now Feb 06 2014; my student loans are still in default, they have not provided me with the new loan servicer and i have had to close my bank account to stop them from taking more money. I have not been given any updates from this company other than after running my credit report they are reprting me in default. Something must be done to stop so many of student loan borrowers from being ripped off. I employ you to please fight back. I personall have hired an attorney, I have contacted studentloan.gov and the BBB.
