I got Performax insurance through my old job. I got sick and had to go to the doctor. I went to a doctor in the network and had a bunch of tests done to see what was wrong. When my doctor presented the bill to Performax they declined payment. We submitted the bill 4 times and still nothing. Now I am getting bills from my doctors office for $1,600. I called Performax numerous of times and they have hung up on me, told me they cant discuss my account over the phone, placed me on hold (or at least they thought they did) and I heard two women talking about what happened on some reality TV show the night before. Then she comes back on the line and says ma'am im still talking to a supervisor can you please continue to hold? I asked how the reality TV was and asked to speak to another rep and she hung up on me. Im sick and tired of getting these bills, I dont see why I have to pay them when I had insurance in the first place.
If your company offers Performax insurance decline the offer. They are a bunch of crap and wont pay the bills anyway.
